Banana Chocolate Bread

- 1/2 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 2 tbls cocoa shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 cup mashed ripe banana shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans(optional but really good) shopping list
- 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate mini morsels shopping list
How to make it
- Beat butter at medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition.
- Combine flour and next 4 ingredients; add to butter mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix at low speed after each addition until blended. Stir in vanilla and remaining ingredients. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 7 1/2 x 3 x 2 inch loafpans.
- Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks 10 minutes; remove from pans, and let cool completely on wire racks. Yield: 2 loaves.
