How to make it

  • I cooked both dishes at the same time so start your water boili in salted waterng in your spaghetti pot. Must be a rolling boil.
  • Add pierogis and cook according to directions.
  • Drain.
  • In a saucepan with oil and butter brown the pierogis on both sides.
  • Meantime add 2 c. chicken broth, wine if used ,to a warmed pan in to which you have added oil and butter.
  • Add all veggies, onions first for 1 minute, then others. on medium heat and cover .Cook until still firm and not squishy. Adding garlic after onion. Seasonings to your taste.
  • Plate with drained pieogies and veggies on side.
  • Serve with biscuits , rolls or pop-overs.
  • That's it!
