Pasta Lasagna

- 1lb pasta (any kind) shopping list
- 1lb ground beef or turkey shopping list
- 1 12oz container of ricotta cheese shopping list
- 1 jar of Prego pasta sauce (we use tradition, but you can use the flavors) shopping list
- 1 small bag shredded mozzarella cheese or fresh shopping list
- 1 can parmesan or fresh parmesa cheese shopping list
- Italian spices shopping list
How to make it
- Cook the pasta in a large pot at a medium boil until "el dente"
- Brown the beef or turkey in a pan, making sure to seperate the large chunks into small pieces
- Heat the pasta sauce in a small pot or pat for about 5 minutes
- Drain the pasta in a strainer and put in large mixing bowl.
- Put the brown meat on a plate and dab with a papertowel or napkin to remove excess grease.
- Add meat to the large mixing bowl with pasta
- Add 2/3 of the pasta sauce to the large mixing bowl
- Mix the meat, pasta, and sauce together until the pasta and the meat are coated with sauce
- Add 1/2of the ricotta cheese and mix. You can add more or less cheese depending on how you like ricotta cheese
- Serve
- If you like more sauce, feel free to add more.
- Add shredded or fresh mozzarella and parmesan to the top for added flavor.
