How to make it

  • Lay the first pie crust down in the pie pan.
  • Cut tomatoes in 4th's or 8th's then slice thin.
  • layer into the pie pan, in two layers.
  • after the first layer is down then sprinkle 1/2 c of the sugar and 1 tbs
  • of the flour and a pinch of the pepper over it. Repeat this step in
  • layers.
  • cover with the top crust, put a few slices in the top and bake at 350 .
  • Watch for the pie to bubble after you see the bubbles then bake for
  • 15 to 20 minutes longer. Let cool as the juice will thicken as it cools.
