Crispy Salmon

- 6 center cut salmon fillets shopping list
- 1 cup of self raising flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup of cornstarch shopping list
- 1 tsp of salt shopping list
- water shopping list
- oil for deep frying- peanut is ok, but i prefer Canola shopping list
- 1 cup your choice of marinara or roasted garlic alfredo sauce shopping list
- chopped parsley shopping list
How to make it
- you want to cut you fish fillets into 4 pieces, so the first cut should slice the fillet into 2 thin pieces then slices the 2 pieces again to make 2 thinned pieces- hence sticks
- mix the self raising flour, cornstarch, salt and water to form a nice and thick batter, it should be the consistency of cake batter.
- dip your fish sticks into the batter and deep fry in hot oil till the batter is crispy and golden brown
- drain on paper towels
- heat up the marinara or alfredo sauce
- drizzle the warm sauce over the fish sticks and garnish with the parsley
