I got this recipe from a lady at church and its my "go to" recipe whenever I make meatloaf!

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground sage

Directions
  1. Put all ingredients in your bowl except the beef and mix it real well.
  2. Once you do that add your beef and then put it in your baking dish.
  3. For my bread crumbs I use whatever I have on hand.
  4. If I am out of breadcrumbs I like to buy the italianed seasoned ones.
  5. The recipe I have uses this mixture for the top.
  6. 3T. brown sugar, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, and 1 tsp mustard.
  7. However I havent made that so I am not sure how yummy it is.
  8. I just top my meatloaf with ketchup and then bake for an hour and 15 minutes.
  9. ENJOY!!!
