How to make it

  • If you have a slow cooker, get some broth (Vegetable broth) from the store.
  • Chop up some Vegetables and put in the slow cooker. (Good stew Vegetables are Potatoes, Carrots, onions, Cabbage, Red Cabbage, Squash, Zucchini). Then put the broth in, fill up with broth until it’s about half-3/4 as high in the pan as the vegetables are. Cook either 4 hours on High, or 8 hours on low. The best part is that you can jsut leave it there and forget about it and then later you have food!
  • When you are done, it’s good to add things like salt, pepper, maybe chopped tomatoes, and any dried herbs you like, such as basil :)

    Love this recipe, never thought of a slow cooker for a veggie meal,I am a veggie. My children eat meat and they loved the stew also. Thank you
