Butterscotch Sauce

- 1 dash of salt shopping list
- 1 c of firmly packed light brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 tspn of fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4 c of light corn syrup shopping list
- 1 1/2 tspn of vanilla shopping list
- 1/4 c of butter shopping list
- 1/2 c of heavy cream shopping list
How to make it
- Put one of your small saucepans over medium heat and then your going to want to start adding a dash of salt, butter, corn syrup and sugar.
- Keep stiring til the sugar id dissolved.
- Get your candy themometer and let the syrup boil till is says 280 F, about 5 minutes.
- Take your sauce pan off the heat and start stirrin in the salt, heavy cream, vanilla and lemon juice.
- Keep stirring it until sauce is smooth, don't worry the sauce will thicken as it cools.
- If you don't use right away thats oky it will bee fine in the fride for up to 3 weeks.
- Use when at room temp or warm.
