- BRING WATER TO BOIL FOR PASTA ,WHEN BOILING THROW IN BROCCOLI RABE, AND BLANCH FOR ABOUT 5 MINS, TAKE OUT BROCCOLI AND PLUNGE INTO ICE WATER, AND LET COOL DRAIN IN COLANDER, WHILE YOU BRING PASTA WATER TO SECOND BOIL THEN THROW IN YOUR PASTA, WHEN BROCCOLI FEELS COOL CHOP INTO PIECES.
