FRESH FRUIT WITH CHERRY COULIS

- 1 quart bing cherries, stemmed and pitted shopping list
- ½ cup superfine sugar shopping list
- ¼ cup kirsch ( cherry brandy ) shopping list
- Fruit: shopping list
- Any combination of: shopping list

- blackberries shopping list
- blueberries shopping list
- Sectioned seed-less oranges shopping list
- Sliced white peaches shopping list
- Sliced yellow peaches shopping list
- Sliced plums shopping list

How to make it
- Method:
- 1)In a nonreactive saucepan, combine the cherries, sugar, and Kirsch. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
- 2)Pour the mixture into a food processor or blender and puree until smooth.
- 3)Strain through a fine sieve and chill.
- 4)Attractively arrange the fruit over a large platter and pass the coulis separately. Serve with wheat kernel bread and creamy Robiola cheese.
