Grilled Shrimp With Apricot Sauce Recipe
Succulent,bacon-wrapped shrimp get extra flavor burst from chunky sweet-hot sauce. Serve on skewers.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c apricot preserves
  • 2 Tb apricot nectar
  • 1/4 tsp ground chipolte chile powder
  • 12 uncooked large shrimp,peeled and deveined
  • 6 slices Canadian bacon,halved

Directions
  1. In small bowl, combine preserves,nectar and chipolte powder. Chill till serving.
  2. Thread shrimp and bacon on four metal or soaked wooden skewers.
  3. Grill,covered over med. heat for 6-8 mins or till shrimp turn pink,turning once. Serve with sauce.

Mmmm this is so healthy and good sounding - good lean protein and sweet/hot! Another good one. Gotta get me some Canadian bacon. ;')


Nice! Canadian bacon is getting scarcer and scaser (is that a word?)here. But many many different bacons. What would you suggest. Still get my 5.
