- 4-6 fish steaks halibut,cod,grouper or red snapper shopping list
- 4-6 cloves of garlic finely minced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cumin shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- juice of 1 lime shopping list
- juice of 1 lemon shopping list
- mix all ingredients except fish. in a deep dish place fish at bottom and pour marinade mix and lput in refrigerator for 2 hrs. shopping list

- 3-4 tablespoons good quality olive oil shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves finely minced shopping list
- 1 large red onion cut in half and sliced thinly shopping list
- 2-3 large potatoes peeled and thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 large can crushed tomaotes shopping list
- juice of one lemon or more if desired shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cayenne shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin shopping list
How to make it
- in a large deep frying pan, pour in oil. heat over medium heat
- tput in chopped garlic and saute for a minute.add onions
- saute until onion are translucent. add spices and crushed tomatoes
- cook for about 5-7 minutes. and stir all mixture together
- stir in lemon juice .layer potatoes slices on top of suace and
- scoop the sauce to cover the potatoes and cook for about 10 mins
- add fish on top of potatoes and sauce. ladel tomaoto sauce mix
- on top of fish. cover cooking pan lower heat. cook till fish is done
- easily flakes when you put a fork in it.
- garnish with sliced lemon and little chopped parsely
- a chilled bottle or 2 or 3 of sauvignon will do wonders before,during and after........................enjoy
