Get er done

Time to start thinking of scrubbing and patching the ole smoker, if ya take care of it it will take care of you. I always like to give it a power wash in the Spring I will then sand down any rust spots and then give it a new coat of High Heat black paint, let it sit for a couple of days to cure then I will coat the inside with bacon fat and burn off about 30 pound of Popular wood and hickory to re-season it. I know it is a bit extreme but it fun keeps me off the streets and out of trouble and I can sit out there and drink a couple of beers with the dogs (i.e.) relax a bit.
