Nothing like the smell of Brisket in the morning - 1

  Well last weekend even though we are going through a terrible cold…ah freezing spell in Virginia I craved smoked brisket, I was kind of tired of the smoked turkey I did over the holidays “I feel the need for beef” so I put heavy traps up around my pup enclosure. I built a 10x25 foot chain link run off the back of the house and installed a doggy door so the kids can get out while I am at work I have the commute from hell, I travel an hour and a half into DC each way everyday so yep I do a 3 hour + trip every day the price to pay to NOT!! Live in the city, any way I digress I put up the traps to shield the area from the wind and brought the portable fire pit in from the back along with a propane heater from the workshop.
