  Well the contest is over and so is this BBQ contest season we did good not great at Pickin-N-the Panhandle this year placed 18 out of 56 teams overall the music was great as always and it was great to meet up with old friends and make new ones, DC firefighters team was there again this year and did very respectable also Tuffy from BBQ pit masters was there about 4 sites up from me. We were talking about doing or trying to do one more in Oct in PA but I think I am going to work on the equipment I want to add new thermometers and box blowers to each smoker also I am thinking about adding in one more large char-grill smoker and starting on the new trailer rig I have a 300 and a 50 gal old propane tank I have been flushing and airing out for a year now I am going to convert the 300 into a smoker with the 50 gal as the firebox and mount it on a trailer.
