Christmas Is Almost Here!!

Happy Sunday guys! Welcome back to BG's Corner!
So it's December. Time for snow, cookies, cocoa, and lotsa food! We are all busy this time of year with shopping, planning, and decorating. Everywhere you go, there is always that reminder that Christmas is near. Personally, I love Christmas. It is the one time of year where people are so happy and friendly to each other. Well, mostly anyways.
Yesterday, my sister and I ended up going to Tulsa to some shopping. We went to..THE MALL!! Now, I have to admit, the mall is awesome! So many different shops, vendors, and FOOD! Lots and lots of food! But the one thing that I do not like about the mall is all of the grouchy people. Going to Bath and Bodyworks was awful. The store was so crowded and people were everywhere! The employees were friendly enough. I am sure that if I had to work there at this time of the year, I wouldn't be the happiest person in the world either. There was only one shopper in that entire store who was friendly and nice. Everyone else was so grouchy.
But overall, the shopping was fun. My sister and I had a fun time and we did get some shopping done.
A few weeks ago, I watched the Charlie Brown Christmas episode, which I do every year. And it reminded me of the true meaning of Christmas again. We get so swept away with planning holiday parties and buying things that we lose sight of the real meaning of Christmas. I have done it and I didn't even realize it. My Christmas wish is that you guys remember the true meaning of Christmas this year.

Hi BG. My favourite part of Christmas is the food, haha. I really like the decorations and the lights, too. I'm really not into shopping and try to pick up things early to avoid the crowds. Shopping with one of my sisters would be fun though.
My very favourite Christmas movie is A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim, I watch it every Christmas Eve.

Hi Bren! The food is one of my faves too, lol! Decorating is always fun! We ususally put in a Christmas cd while we decorate our house. Shopping is okay but the mall was so hectic. I wouldn't want to be there closer to Christmas because I imagine that is much crazier and crowded! Thanks for stopping by! It's always a pleasure to see ya! :)
