  I use my bread machine only to mix the bread. Then I take it out and make it into a loaf and bake it in a bread pan. The reason I do this is because the bread NEVER raises in the bread machine. I would end up with a very heavy mini loaf that really wasn't edible. If I mix it then do it manually, the bread raises and it works perfectly. Am I doing something wrong, or does the bread machine need to be replaced?
