Frosted Ginger Creams

    1/2 cup margarine, softened
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 cup light molasses
    4 cups flour
    2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 tsp cinnamon
    2 tsp ginger
    1 tsp ground cloves
    1 tsp nutmeg
    1 cup hot water

    Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 400 F for 8 minutes. Frost with your favorite vanilla frosting.
