2 16 oz. cans of fruit pie filling (your choice)
1 box cake mix (your choice)
    1/2 C. Water
    butter

Butter the inside and bottom of the lid of the Dutch oven.
Pour the pie filling in the dutch oven.
Dump in the cake mix. Spread evenly. Dot top with butter.
    Pour the water on top.
    Place lid on Dutch oven.
Place dutch oven on coals. Shovel some coals on top of the lid.
    Bake for approximately 30-45 mins.
    Test cake for doneness.

** we had this once with dark chocolate cake and cherries, it was too sweet, I would suggest a lighter cake.

We like this with yellow cake and apple filling, throw in a little extra cinnamon, it's good hot over vanilla icecream.

    Canned dinner bisquits
Sugar, cinnamon, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, whatever you like on donuts
    Oil

Put oil in dutch oven and heat (get it good and hot)
Take rolls and put a hole in the middle, shape to look like a donut,
    Put them in hot oil
They will float to the top when done
Cover donut with your favorite topping
    Enjoy!
