Fellowship, Food and FUN!

  This topic is for you to relate some great times with the Saints, good food and fun things that you did together in unity.

  My husband, Bob and I are in leadership with the Moody's Care Pastor Group at World Harvest Church. This Group has approximately 400+ church members. We communicate with about 50 families from this group.
  
  The Moody's call their gatherings "BBQ's", whether it's on Labor Day or late fall during the Thanksgiving Season. I believe it just sets the tone for an atmosphere of fellowship, food and FUN!
  
  Before Thanksgiving, we had combined 3 Care Pastor Groups for one of these BBQ's and it was a great success. We set up tables with tablecloths to make is special and placed a board game in the middle of each table so that people would do something together to meet new folks and have friendly competition.
  
  The Care Pastors had a food budget and that night we had on the menu:
  BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
  BBQ Meatballs
  Veggie Platters
  Potato Salad
  Chips
  Cookies and Brownies
  Sweet Potato Cheesecake with a Gingersnap Crust
  Punch
  Coffee
  Sweet Tea
  
  Out of all the people I called, emailed, or sent a postcard to, we had 42 commitments.
