East Texas

    The food in the the north eastern part of Texas seems to be taking a turn towards more international foods. Tex-Mex is going still going strong and being this close to Louisiana keeps Cajun food present, but it seems that we are geting a greater variety of cuisines to choose from. And I am not talking about the standard Chinese buffets or Italian chain restaurants, but authentic food prepared by chefs who bring us a taste of their native foods. Finally!

    Here in the Houston area I think we have a Tex-Mex restaurant on every corner! That is a good thing since I love Mexican food. I still end up going back to my favorite restaurant every time. Of course, you can find any cuisine here that you want.
