I was doing not too bad til I came home with the munchies and spotted the tin of Cmas cookies my Mom sent over.
I had an egg an dcheese sandwhich for bfast. Put soymilk int he egg did a lil ched cheese on this light multi grained whole wheat bread. Threw a like 80 cal yogurt with it. Hd a few cups of coffee.... I put soymilk int hem, no sugar. Lunch I do a PBJ because it's just easiest and I have so little time for lunch. It's Slippys all natural PB. Smuckers jam, the same bread from bfast.
Dinner I'm making Tuna burgers. Do it up with chopped veggies in it, and avocado to make them stick. Grill then top with LTO on the whole wheat bread.....

Ideas for an easy, non refrigerable lunch would be lovely. I need to bring more snacks.... clementine, banana....
    So how you doing Laurie??
Sorry Laurie started back to school.

I started getting at least 32 oz of water or better into me the past few days. Put those crystal light or knock off things in my water to make it more appealing and all..... I'm happy about that....
Need more fruit and veggies though. Needs to be quick and easy too....

Peanut butter is a great lunch, I used to eat it every day when I lost all my weight the first time, the protein keeps you full and the fat keeps you satisfied.
Have you tried the Laughing cow cheese. I like that spread on a Wasa whole grain crisp, sometimes I will add deli turkey or ham, ( I have even added craisens) pack it all in baggies with an icepack or a frozen water bottle, by lunch the water is almost defrosted and you can drink it nice and cold.
another lunch I make for the kids is Peanut butter sushi- I take a wheat tortilla and put a thin spread of peanut butter on it, then roll a bannana into it. slice it up and put it face up sushi style.
I had cheerios and strawberries for breakfast yummy but i was hungry an hour later and had a yogurt
for lunch I had the hummus wrap again (don't want the stuff to go bad)
for dinner I am having my turkey suprise (posted)
Water is the best thing you can do for yourself-speeds up your metabolism, and keeps you full.

That's good I have to go grocery shopping next chance anyhow.
For dinner I just did a what's in my house and what can I do healthy.
I did a john Mazottish tuna/imitation crab casserole with a can of no salt added veggies, fresh carrots and onions topped with what they call an arturo sauce. Did my own version of this sauce. Brn sugar, a healthier soy, worchester sauce, tomatoes, and tomato sauce, garlic, and sliced spanish olives. I threw this all in a casserole dish with semi cooked whole wheat pasta and a mix of citija and cheddar cheese. Baked it up for say half an hour. Then topped with avocados and enjoyed. MMMMmmmmmm excellent

you're certainly doing better than I am. I munch when I'm studying. Lately it's been whole wheat rice cakes but the other day Cmas cookies (grrrrrr my Mom). But today I did bring a lunch bag and had a bunch of fruit. I also had oatmeal for bfast and I lasted a little longer than I usually do.
I eat my oatmeal a bit uniquely. I love heating up a bowl of applesauce then putting my oatmeal in that and adding a tad of hot water just to wet the oats. MMMMmmmmm.....

I went back to school. I'm just about down and through this course for Medical Billings and Coding. I can't do my current profession forever. It would appear I'm not getting any younger.
    I like your idea though.
I was good my Mom and I were out and she eluded she wanted lunch. My rules were cheap and healthy. So we ended up at a salad bar. I discovered cottage cheese and those dried cranberries are EXCELLENT together!!!
Had oatmeal again. If forgot how much I liked it. Shamefully it's the in a package kind. I'd bought it for my husband but he doesn't need it anymore so I have to use it up. Then we're going back to the Mr whoever from that big cardboard container again.
I remember liking it with milk once in awhile when I was little. Maybe soy milk, my oatmeal and a banana warmed up a lil might be good!??

low fat milk is supposed to help you lose weight. I have the packaged kind in the house for the kids and my husband likes the low sugar one. but I will take the little packet and add a tablespoon on plain oatmeal to it, makes it much better because it cuts down on the sweetness and makes a bigger portion than those tiny packets for not too much more calories.

I've found yogurt covered pretzels. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing but gosh darn it I've found them.

yogurt covered pretzels are good but it is hard to stick with a good portion.
I have been eating microwave airpopped popcorn every night.
made turkey meatloaf for dinner, the family likes it and it is low fat I used the 93% lean ground turkey and put a layer of low fat feta cheese in the middle.

That sounds awesome. Did I ever tell you about Giada's Sundried tomato and feta turkey meatloaf??? Oh it was fabulous. I've made it twice. First time following the recipe and second time making my own healthier substitutions.
I need to have a cooking day Mon. again.

Life doesn't always help when you do this stuff. Lately I haven't been feeling very veggie. I've been enjoying my carbs.... So sad I know....
Laurie I hope you've been much more successful!
