I am a lifetimer at weight watchers but I go back and forth. It was really time to go back. Ugh I am at my heaviest without being preggie.
they changed the whole WW program, you can have all the fruits and veggies you want without costing a point but they raised the points on high carb things and basically everything with carbs. hard for me because I am a carb addict but I can see why they would do it. I would use all my points on popcorn and snacks and use very few points for fruit and veggies, now yesterday I had a grapefruit, an orange and a bannana and normally I would have maybe 1 piece of fruit. so it is healthier.
Becca my youngest started New years day. I should say started back because she has been trying to eat healthier but took a break over the holiday season.
She is doing AWESOME! finally found a salad she will eat, the spring mix with just oil and vinegar and a little salt and pepper. no other seasonings and nothing else in it.

I love my carbs too. But they don't love me. My BP actually goes up with a carb heavy diet. I like unlimited veggies not so much unlimited fruits.

So new trick of the day: took lowfat cottage cheese and put it in the food processor with some dip mix, hidden valley ranch and used it as a dip for carrots and celery YUM

I like that trick!! Will use soon.
I'm swapping out whole eggs for egg white omelets.
Low fat neufchatel cheese instead of cream cheese.

Tina have you tried the laughing Cow cheese? Do they have that in FL? It the consistancy of cream cheese but in little triangle wedges 35 calories for a wedge and lower fat but I think it tastes like cream cheese. They just added a bunch of flavors. the original and onion have been around for a while but they just added Blue Cheese and a spicer one that for some reason I can't think of the name. I like them for portion control last night I had a wedge and a portion (16) of lite wheat thins and it really hit the spot.
Also the Kraft Fat free shredded cheese. Hubby who I refer to as Mr. Suchafuss2 said he cannot tell the difference in the cheddar. the only thing is that because it is fat free it doesn't melt as well but if you use it in something that has a little fat in it like Chili, Cheeseburgers, meatloaf (you get the idea) it melts fine.

Cool, I'll look for the Laughing Cow cheese. Instant portion control is a good thing.
