roasted garlic this is delicious

  i garlic bulb
  olive oil
  thyme
  salt an pepper
  remove outter leaves of garlic
  cut off top of bulb so that each clove is open
  drizzle teaspoon of oil over bulb
  sprinkle thyme and salt pepper
  
  place in small bread loaf pan cover with tin foil
  place in cold oven bake 300 for 30 minutes
  remove foil bake 45 minutes or until garlic is tender, husks are brown.
  baste occasionally with oil
  when roasted garlic takes on a nutty flavor. can be served whole or squeeze out bulb onto bread,or add to salads or sauces
