i was in your country,1972=73
i loved it. the food is fantastic, and the people were even better. i was at clark a.f.b
in luson. the city was angelies. i hope i spelled it correctly. i will try anything except
ba-loot. no no no i won't eat it.
lumpia is my favorite. i spent a week living in a grass hut.and swimming in the ocean,it was paradise..just eatting coconuts,fish,rice
drinking san migual beer and white castle whiskey. and chasing a gril around the beach
making love on the picnic table,under the moon
DAMN... I WANT TO GO BACK

It has developed since - more malls in the city, more people and definitely more cars in the streets! What it hasn't changed though is the warmth of the filipino people, which is good. We still have the best hospitality around. Our beaches, like Boracay is alive everyday with more bars and restos. But through the years and even with more people, the waters remain pristine and the white sand cool under the hot sun. I hope you will come and visit this place again!

i used to make a farmer mad, i would sneak over and ride his carabou. he would chase me , yelling se se pinketa e caw auso [i will kick you, you dog]
i miss the jeepneys 50 centovoes like 7 cents go all over
that was back when it was 1 dollar was 7 pesos
my living room is ratan furniture that we bought then

well you have mispelled some of the things there like: luson=Luzon, angelies=angeles, ba-loot=balut, se se pinketa e caw auso=sisipain kita, ikaw aso, anyways am no here to teach you tagalog terms/words but i'll try to find banana lumpia recipe for you.. :D
