  Kimmer got me thinking about Christmas :)
  
  I love gingerbread. I bake mine from scratch every Christmas. My little cousins love to decorate it with me. It is a great activity to keep them busy on the 24th Dec afternoon.

  I even made a gingerbread cake type recipe in the crock pot once using a special cake liner attachment thingy. It's the combo of all those luscious spices that make gingerbread so special....nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon....and then you add to that the folklore of the recipe "Can't catch me I'm the Gingerbread Man" and you have basically a recipe that goes down in History right?
