  I am desperately trying to collect Hungarian recipes that have been handed down or even altered. I want to leave my daughter with a history of her heritage while I still can.

  Maybe a little late. MY great gradnmother and grandmother asisted in wriitng a hungarian cook book abck in the fifties/sixties. It is called "The Art of Hungarian Cooking'. it has many simple hungarian family recipes in it. I still do see it on e-bay or in used bookstores every so often.
