Cauliflower Hash Browns

    *Made for the September 2019 Breakfast Recipe Challenge*

    These were so much fun! Makes you feel better about eating hash browns :) I used my food processor attachment to grate the cauliflower, which is super quick. These actually stayed together really well in the pan when flipping. Topped with a fried egg, of course ;P

    Wow! Nice picture Michelle and the recipe looks great. Did you find them an acceptable substitute for potato hashbrowns? Looking at the pictures I can't tell the difference between these and ones made with potato.

    Great photo, Mommyluvs2cook! I have the same question as LindaLMT. I made a similar recipe not long ago and thought they had a weird, rubbery texture.

    I loved them, and they definitely take on the texture of hash browns, but you can still taste that it's cauliflower. If you don't like cauliflower, then you won't like these IMO. A great substitute for cauli. lovers though!! Thanks ladies :)

    I think I will try this. I really liked the flavor of the ones I made, just didn't like the texture. I noticed that this recipe doesn't pre-cook the cauliflower. Maybe that will make a difference.
