German Cole Slaw

    *Made for the 2018 October "Oktoberfest" Recipe Challenge*

    This was good, but could have used a little something else. Maybe garlic or mustard powder? Maybe shredded carrots? I chopped up my cabbage into strips instead of shredding, I like bigger chunks. I know it's not German but I served this on top of shredded BBQ beef sandwiches lol :P

    I agree, mustard or mustard powder would be great in this. I think some caraway seeds would be nice or some celery seeds. :)

    Love all the suggestions, yes any would have given it a little something :) Diz, I used apple cider vinegar, I didn't like the idea of using all lemon juice and now that I think about it, half lemon and half vinegar would have been good? Next time!
