I’ve been craving BBQ chicken lately. Talk about easy peasy! I used leg quarters and baked 45 minutes. They were done and falling off the bone. No need for any extra cook time. I put them under the broiler, turned my back for a second, and charred them pretty good. Let me tell you, the char added some really good flavor. It was good, but I’m fickle when it comes to BBQ sauce. This one had a bit too much mustard and chili powder for my tastes. Yes, they were sticky and messy!

It looks great Diz! Whenever I "think" I burned something the family seems to like it more, lol...
Funny how you could taste the mustard powder. I've heard on some reviews where mustard powder is used and people say it's too strong. Thinking mine must be old I bought a new can, the English one "Colman's" brand. I don't find it strong at all. Perhaps some brand are much stronger?

Thank you, Cosmicmother! I don't really like mustard in general. Dijon is okay as long as it's not overpower. If I put Dijon on sandwiches, I mix it with mayo.

The picture is awesome DIZ! It looks amazing. The recipe looks great too, something I would like. Saved! Nice find. What's BBQ without a little char? That's the best part.

Thank you, LindaLMT! It seems like BBQ does need some char or it's not really BBQ.
