A few easy ways to cut back a little on sodium

    Use sea salt instead of regular salt, it has a stronger taste and you don't have to use as much.

    Try using more herbs and spices instead of salt in homemade dishes. Garlic powder, onion powder, basil, pepper, dried lemon or orange peel, chili powder, etc. Pick things with strong flavors so your taste buds will be satisfied.

    Stay away from canned soups!!! Even canned broths have TONS of sodium.
