What is your favorite Maltese recipe

  Is there nay particular recipe you hold near and dear to your heart that speaks to the Maltese cooking style.

If I didn't have my blessed grandkids, I would move to Malta in a HEARTBEAT. Rabbit is my #1 favorite. Pastizzi, (meat with peas and sauce) is a close runner up. Bridgioli, stuffed with meat, sauce, onions is next on my list. Thank God my father in law, bless his soul, had the patience to work with me, as he gave me his recipes. "Dad", never measured, so I had to have him put everything on a scale or a measuring cup, as he fixed his dishes, so that I might write them down.
