Sausage sandwich

    I love the Italian sausages that we have available to us here in Kansas City, the locally made, not the shipped in ones.
    They are fantastic and I just had one for lunch at my favorite Italian deli.
    It was a delicious sausage, split down the middle and grilled, along with a big handful of kraut.
    This was put onto a large grilled sub bun, slathered with spicy mustard and topped with a couple of slices of melted Swiss cheese.
    This isn't on the menu but I ask and I get it. It's out of this world!
    Sometimes life's pleasures are simple, but good.

    I usually just like sauted onion and any kind of mustard ............ even just the yellow mustard is the best.
