    Ingredients

    * 2 glass par boiled rice
    * 1/2 glass channa dhal
    * 1/4 glass toor dhal
    * 1/4 glass urud dhal
    * Asafoetida- 1 tbl spoon
    * Karri patha
    * Red chillies
    * Salt to taste
    * l


    Directions

    1. 1. Soak all the Dhal and par boiled rice separately for atleast 6hrs.
    2. 2. Grind the rice first and pour it in the batter bowl and then grind the lentils along with the spices. All the ingredients should be ground coarsely.
    3. 3. Add water and grind. The batter should be thicker than the usual dosa batter.
    4. 4. Take a non-stick pan and warm it, and pour like a dosa. Add oil and wait till the side cooks well. You can't spread it like dosa, so while pouring it be sure how thick the adai should be.
    5. 5. Once the side is cooked, tun it over.
    6. You can have this along with Jaggery, sugar and ghee combination or if you like it spicy you can have it with sambhar.
