Ingredients
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
3/4 c white wine or chicken broth
1 (16 oz) package wide egg noodles
2 lbs boneless pork, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
1 medium green pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 (10.5 oz) can condensed chicken broth, undiluted
1/2 c cold water
1 medium onion, sliced
1/2 tsp browning sauce
1 medium tomato, seeded & sliced
6 tbsps all-purpose flour
1/4 c sour cream
1/2 tsp pepper
Directions
Step #1 In a pressure cooker, saute green pepper in oil until crisp-tender.
Step #2 Remove with a slotted spoon; set aside.
Step #3 Brown pork in pressure cooker over medium-high heat; drain.
Step #4 Stir in the broth, wine or broth, onion, garlic & pepper.
Step #5 Close cover securely; place pressure regulator on vent pipe.
Step #6 Bring cooker to full pressure over high heat.
Step #7 Reduce heat to medium-high heat.
Step #8 Reduce heat to medium-high & cook for 12 mins.
Step #9 (Pressure regulator should maintain a slow steady rocking motion; adjust heat if needed.
Step #10 ) Remove from the heat; as soon as possible cool according to a manufacturer's directions until pressure is completely reduced.
Step #11 Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions.
Step #12 Stir tomato & reserved green pepper into the pork mixture.
Step #13 Combine flour & cold water until smooth; stir in theto pork mixture.
Step #14 Bring to a boil; cook & stir for 2 mins or until thickened.
Step #15 Reduce heat to low; stir in the sour cream & browning sauce if desired.
Step #16 Drain noodles; serving with pork mixture.
