Sticky Pork And Hokkein Noodle Stir Fry Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 onion, sliced thickly .
  • 600 g lean pork, cut into strips .
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed .
  • 1 tsp cornflour .
  • 500 g hokkien noodles .
  • 300F g broccoli, sliced coarsely .
  • 2 tbsps peanut oil .
  • 1/3 c sweet chili sauce .
  • 2 tbsps ketjap manis .
  • 200 g baby corn, halved lenghtways .
  • 2 carrots .
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Place noodles in large heatproof bowl; cover with boiling water; seperate noodles with fork & drain.
  • Step #2 Cut carrots into thin strips.
  • Step #3 Heat half the oil in wok & stir fry onion & garlic til onion softens.
  • Step #4 Add carrot, broccoli & corn, stir fry until just tender.
  • Step #5 Remove from wok.
  • Step #6 Heat remaining oil in wok, stir fry pork in batches until browned all over.
  • Step #7 Blend cornflour & sugar with sauces in a small jug.
  • Step #8 Return veggies to wok with pork & sauce mixture; stir fry til sauce boils & thickens slightly.
  • Step #9 Add noodles, stir fry til heated through.
