Cranberry Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 tbsps unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 c cranberries
  • 1/4 tsp ground mace
  • 2/3 c white sugar
  • 1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust
  • 1 c pecan halves
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 c dark corn syrup
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Finely chop cranberries in food processor/blender or by hand.
  • Step #3 Spread into bottom of pastry-lined pie pan.
  • Step #4 In a large bowl beat eggs until frothy.
  • Step #5 Add sugar, melted butter or margarine, vanilla, mace, corn syrup, & salt.
  • Step #6 Mix well.
  • Step #7 Pour mixture over cranberry layer.
  • Step #8 Neatly arrange pecan halves on top of sugar mixture.
  • Step #9 Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 mins, until golden & set in center.
