Taco Dip Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce .
  • 2 tsps onion salt .
  • 1 tsp garlic powder .
  • 1 c shredded cheddar cheese .
  • 1 c sour cream .
  • 2 (14 oz) cans refried beans .
  • tortillas (optional) .
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, room temperature .
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef .
  • tortilla chips (optional) .
  • 1 c shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions
  • Step #1 Brown meat in a sauce pan, & when browned, drain.
  • Step #2 Add to the beef the onion salt, garlic powder, & tomato sauce.
  • Step #3 Mix well.
  • Step #4 On the bottom of a casserole dish spread the 2 cans of beans.
  • Step #5 In a bowl mix the sour cream & cream cheese together until smooth & then spread on top of beans.
  • Step #6 Then put meat on the sour cream mixture & then top it with the cheese.
  • Step #7 Bake at 375 for 35-40 mins, or until bubbly.
  • Step #8 Spread in tortillas or use as a dip with tortilla chips.
  • Step #9 Can garnish with salsa, tomatoes, olives -- whatever.
