Lemon Crumb Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder .
  • 1/2 c butter, chilled (1 stick) .
  • 1/2 c brown sugar, packed .
  • 1/3 c vegetable oil .
  • 3 eggs .
  • 1 c flour .
  • 1 (16 oz) package lemon cake mix .
  • 1 1/3 c water

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Step #2 Grease & flour 13"x9" pan.
  • Step #3 In a large mixing bowl, eggs, water, mix cake mix, & oil; beat at medium speed of electric mixer for 2 mins.
  • Step #4 Pour into pan.
  • Step #5 In a small bowl, mix flour, sugar, & baking powder.
  • Step #6 Using two knives or a pastry cutter, cut in butter until crumbly.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top crumb evenly over batter.
  • Step #8 Bake until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean (35-40 mins).
  • Step #9 Cool completely in pan.
