Red Wine Gravy Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c red wine .
  • 1 tbsp orange marmalade .
  • salt & pepper .
  • 2 tbsps plain flour .
  • 1/4 c pan juices .
  • 1 c beef stock or water

Directions
  • Step #1 Skin excess fat off pan juices.
  • Step #2 Place dish on stovetop & heat on medium.
  • Step #3 Add red wine scraping down pan, add marmelade.
  • Step #4 Cook 1 to 2 mins.
  • Step #5 Stir in flour.
  • Step #6 Cook for 1 min.
  • Step #7 Remove from heat.
  • Step #8 Gradually mix in stock.
  • Step #9 Return to heat, cook stirring constantly until gravy boils & thickens simmer for 3 mins then season.
