3 oz boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces .
1 c water .
1/3 c sliced green onions
Directions
Step #1 Spray medium sauce pan with cooking spray, heat over medium-high heat; Add chicken , cook & stir 2 to 3 mins or until no longer pink; remove this from heat & set aside.
Step #2 In same saucepan mix broth, onion, carrot, water, orzo, ginger & turmeric; bring to a boil.
Step #3 Reduce heat & let simmer, covered, 8 to 10 mins or until orzo is tender.
Step #4 Stir in chicken & lemon juice; cook this until hot; season to taste with pepper; Laddle into bowls & sprinkle with green onions, if desired.
