Irish Coffee Mousse Recipe

Ingredients
  • 125 g sugar .
  • 50 ml Irish whiskey .
  • 20 ml coffee, decoction concentrate .
  • 1/2 liter milk, boiled & cooled .
  • 5 egg yolks .
  • 12 g gelatin, powder .
  • 150 ml cream, whipped

Directions
  • Step #1 mix the yolks sugar & milk in a bowl.
  • Step #2 cook it on double boiler untill the mixture coats the spoon.
  • Step #3 mix the the gelatine in cold water & heat it to get rid of the froth & impurities collecting on the top.
  • Step #4 cool & add to the egg mixture.
  • Step #5 chill on ice.
  • Step #6 stir till it starts to set on the sides oof the bowl.
  • Step #7 add the coffee decoction & whiskey, fold in the cream.
  • Step #8 pour this into wine glass, chill for 45 min.
  • Step #9 serve this with cream rossette, a cherry & chocolate triangles.
