Hoisin Halibut Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 (6 oz) halibut steaks (1-inch thick & each steak should weigh 6 oz) .
  • 1/4 c hoisin sauce, divided .
  • 1 c sliced green onions .
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil .
  • 1/8 tsp fresh ground black pepper .
  • 3 tbsps low sodium soy sauce .
  • 1 tbsp grated peeled fresh ginger .
  • 1/2 c fat free chicken broth .
  • 8 oz uncooked rice noodles (or 3/4 lb. vermicelli) .
  • 1 tsp chili paste with garlic .
  • 3 tbsps rice vinegar

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat the broiler.
  • Step #2 Prepare noodles by following the directions on the package.
  • Step #3 Combine noodles, 2 tbsps hoisin sauce, & the next 8 ingredients In a large-ish bowl; keep warm.
  • Step #4 Rub fish with 2 tbsps hoisin sauce.
  • Step #5 Put fish on a broiler pan that has been coated with cooking spray.
  • Step #6 Broil 4 mins on each side or until fish flakes easily.
  • Step #7 Serve fish over noodles.
