Chicken 'n Rice Cacciatore Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

1 (14 1/2 oz) can chicken broth .
1/2 c dry white wine .
1/2 c water .
2 tbsps sliced fresh parsley .
1/2 c sliced green bell peppers .
1/4 c parmesan cheese, grated .
1 c shredded mozzarella cheese .
1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms .
1 tsp dried basil .
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste .
1/4 tsp black pepper .
1/2 c sliced onions .
1 1/4 c uncooked rice .
1 tsp garlic salt .
6 chicken breast halves .
1/2 tsp italian seasoning

Directions

Step #1 Spread rice in bottom of lightly greased 13x9 baking dish.
Step #2 In small bowl, stir this together 1 tbsp of the parsley & all remaining ingredients except chicken & cheeses.
Step #3 Pour over rice.
Step #4 Arrange chicken on top of rice mixture.
Step #5 Bake covered at 350° degrees for 45-50 mins.
Step #6 Uncover & sprinkle cheeses on top.
Step #7 Return to oven & bake another 5 mins.
Step #8 Sprinkle top on remaining parsley just before serving.
