Chocolate Chip Meringue Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c sugar .
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 3 tbsps miniature semisweet chocolate chips .
  • 3 tbsps unsweetened cocoa .
  • 3 large egg whites

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 300°.
  • Step #2 Beat egg whites, cream of tartar, & salt at high speed of a mixer until soft peaks form.
  • Step #3 Add sugar, 1 tbsp at a time, beating until stiff peaks form.
  • Step #4 Sift cocoa over egg white mixture.
  • Step #5 Fold inches Fold in minichips.
  • Step #6 Cover up a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Step #7 Secure to baking sheet with masking tape.
  • Step #8 Drop batter by level tbspfuls onto prepared baking sheet.
  • Step #9 Bake at 300° for 40 mins or until crisp.
  • Step #10 Cool on pan on a wire rack.
  • Step #11 Repeat procedure with remaining batter, reusing parchment paper.
  • Step #12 Serve & enjoy.
  • Step #13 Store in an airtight container.
