Grilled Pacific Rim Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tsps minced garlic .
  • 1/2 tsp five-spice powder .
  • 2 tbsps dry sherry .
  • 2 tsps minced fresh gingerroot .
  • 1/3 c reduced sodium soy sauce .
  • 1/4 c hoisin sauce .
  • 2 lbs pork tenderloins

Directions
  • Step #1 In a 1-c glass measuring c, sherry, mix soy sauce, garlic & ginger.

  • Step #3 Place tenderloins in a resealable plastic bag; pour soy sauce mixture into.

  • Step #5 Seal bag securely; put in the fridge at least 30 mins or up to 4 hrs, turning bag every once in awhile.

  • Step #7 Sprinkle top five spice powder on tenderloins.
  • Step #8 Grill tenderloins, covered over medium.
  • Step #9 coals, turning every once in awhile, 15 to 20 mins or until instant read thermometer inserted in center of meat registers 160 degrees.

  • Step #12 While tenderloins are cooking, add Hoisin sauce to marinade in.

  • Step #14 Bring to a boil; simmer uncovered until thickened, about 3 mins.
  • Step #15 Brush mixture evenly over tenderloins during last 5 mins of grilling, turning once.
