Step #1 Put cabbage in boiling salted water(1/2 tsp per c of water) & let simmer until tender, about 25 mins.
Step #2 Drain & run cold water over it to cool.
Step #3 With paper towels, squeeze dry by the handful & place this in a mixing bowl.
Step #4 Add egg yolks, margarine, sugar, lemon juice, apples & salt.
Step #5 Stir in the matzoh meal.
Step #6 Beat the egg whites until stiff & fold into the cabbage mixture.
Step #7 Pour into a greased casserole.
Step #8 Place in a preheated oven at 350 degrees.
Step #9 Bake for 1 hr.
