Lamb Shish Kebab Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into chunks .
  • marinade .
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin .
  • 1/4 c peanut oil or vegetable oil .
  • kebabs .
  • 2 tsps fresh ginger, finely sliced .
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne .
  • 2 tbsps lemon juice .
  • 1 tbsp grated onions .
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander .
  • 2 lbs lean lamb .
  • 1 tsp garlic, finely sliced .
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric .
  • 2 green peppers, cut into chunks .
  • 2 medium onions, cut into chunks

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix all marinade ingredients In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #2 Add lamb cubes & marinate for 1 hr or overnight.
  • Step #3 Preheat broiler or light the barbecue.
  • Step #4 Divide the meat & vegetables evenly into 4 parts, & skewer the pieces on 4 skewers.
  • Step #5 Place 4 to 5 inches from flame.
  • Step #6 Grill, turning to cook evenly, for approximately 10 mins.
