Ingredients
  • 1 large head of cabbage .
  • 2 tsps white vinegar .
  • 1 tsp pickling salt .
  • 2 tsps sugar .
  • boiling water

Directions
  • Step #1 wash & chop (or shread) cabbage.
  • Step #2 pack jars tightly.
  • Step #3 add vinegar, sugar & salt to each jar.
  • Step #4 pour boiling water into jar to cover.
  • Step #5 place lids on jars tightly.
  • Step #6 this will be ready to eat in about 3 weeks.
  • Step #7 stays fresh & crisp for years.
  • Step #8 no need to seal lids the salt preserve the cabbage, some jars seal anyways.
