1 large head of cabbage .
2 tsps white vinegar .
1 tsp pickling salt .
2 tsps sugar .
boiling water
Directions
Step #1 wash & chop (or shread) cabbage.
Step #2 pack jars tightly.
Step #3 add vinegar, sugar & salt to each jar.
Step #4 pour boiling water into jar to cover.
Step #5 place lids on jars tightly.
Step #6 this will be ready to eat in about 3 weeks.
Step #7 stays fresh & crisp for years.
Step #8 no need to seal lids the salt preserve the cabbage, some jars seal anyways.
