Step #8 Add shredded cheddar little by little & let simmer an extra 5 mins, or until cheese melts.
Step #9 Turn off flame.
Step #10 Add macaroni to the saucepan & toss to coat with the cheese sauce.
Step #11 Transfer macaroni to a buttered baking dish.
Step #12 Sprinkle top with breadcrumbs.
Step #13 Bake 20 mins until the top is golden brown.
Step #14 (You can also freeze this recipe in zip-lock bags for later use - once you have mixed the macaroni along with the cheese sauce allow this to cool to about room temp before adding to your freezer - I generally pull it out the night before & allow macaroni & cheese to reach room temperature; I then add the macaroni & cheese to a buttered baking dish, sprinkle with bread crumbs & then bake for 20 to 30 mins, until golden brown on top & bubbling.
